Should be a fun night, going to try a spot I have never been in, though it is close to a spot have been in. It's going to be a warm, but beautiful night. Hoping for a Doe, but you never know. The wind is wrong for my main buck spots, though there was some good rubs near this spot last year. I know they are there. I hope no one else comes in on us. I know there is another guy that hunts from the same parking lot, but it is hard to know which way they all go. I have a plan b and c that won't be to difficult to move on to if needed.
For your daughter's sake, I hope you see some deer! Good luck.

Man you get a lot of tree time!
Also: I thought this was the hunting beast? I'm going to take being called out for a lot of tree time as a compliment here. Means I'm definitely working hard enough.

Set up on an oak flat with a small creek behind me. Dist time in a saddle, so we'll see how this goes lol

A boat ride only access and a 3/4 mile walk to a narrow wooded point that connects to a large woodlot surrounded by corn and alfalfa. The joint itself jets out into a cattail marsh. I am 60 yards from the point tip. Had the wind on my favor but the wind is almost non existent now. Luckily standing water is pull my scent down in the right direction. There was fresh tracks coming in and off this point. No rubs or scrapes seen. We will see what happens!

That Beast stand is so light that it’s invisible.

Re: Live from the field 2020
Setup in a new spot tonight looking over a marsh in a tiny bare tree. I hope I at least see deer, was a tough walk back in the swamp in waders at 75-80degrees. But thank the Good Lord I'm able to even be out. And a bonus I'll have a beautiful sunset to see.

Snuck in found a good spot. Not the best tree, but it’s what will have to work. Daughters in front with Lw, I’m in back with my saddle. She’s got Camo on now. Lol
Squirrels are starting to run around. Have a couple oaks close by, don’t seem to be dropping yet.
