No doubt, I have dreamed of jumping 5-6 big bucks in a swamp somewhere, just can't seem to find the right one. Of course some of the swamps up here are ten square miles so endless hiding spots.

This sounds like my bow season of the last couple weeks.

Misery loves company, huh?

Pretty awesome evening. My dad killed a good mature buck. His first one in over 20 years. I’m super stoked for him.

Congrats to the killers. Got out for the first time in ten days, saw a dozen does, the bucks can't be too far away. Looking forward to muzzleloader coming up Dec 1.

Congrats to the killers!

I’m chomping at the bit to get in the field again

Technically I’ve only hunted 3 days for myself in all of November. One MN bowhunt, and filled my SD tag day 2. The rest of my hunts were helping my nephews in MN and friends in SD.

I’m ready to roll some smoke with the loader! 8-) I’M FEELING BEASTY. Feeling like something big is gonna take a dirt nap. Is it Saturday morning yet?

I got a public land mountain buck killed in WV yesterday. I setup between two bedding areas, aka parched of mountain laurel. Killed him at 3:30, and was only the second deer I saw all day. I do t think I’ve ever been so cold, lol, as I was severely underdressed.

Looks like 2 targets to me. Good luck with them

The palmated one is close for our antler restrictions but if I see him and he looks good then I won't hesitate! Didn't see either one this past weekend, we have been getting really odd winds this year and not many cold fronts coming down south so far, still a good bit of season ahead though.

Man congratulations to all the recent killers:
tsom; Eddie; Drenalin; Crazinamatese; KyleWI and Thesouthpaw

Blackwidow, that's awesome that your dad was able to get one after 20 years. I was able to get my dad a buck last year when he had not killed one in 5 years, he passed away in January so it was especially special that we shared that moment before he passed. That to me means more than all the inches or pounds could ever add up to be, the memories created will far outweigh any other number!

Congratulations to anyone else that was able to harvest and keep it going guys, love seeing everyone's success and passion for hunting from young to experienced.

That’s a heck of a buck to end a 20 year drought! Congrats to your dad on a beautiful deer!
