In my part of Minnesota we are experiencing slight/moderate drought conditions. In your experience will drought conditions effect bedding in swamp/marsh?
I know a lot can change in the next month and a half. But am curious to hear others experience in these conditions.

Absolutely, it will make life a little harder but if you look around you will find them. There is just so much more dry/thick cover in those swamps when things dry out, a buck just has more options to bed.

It's actually easier to get on deer when there is more water. So yes, it sure seems to in my experience. They have more places available to bed. Also more hunters venture into the swamp.

Dry years are tough. It opens up so much more available bedding. High water years make bedding so much more predictable.
