The Hunting Beast

We are headed to Loess Hills for 10 days. Going to give it a heck of a shot, hoping Mother Nature cooperates. Now the question is where do I begin? haha. 11,600 acres between Prep Canyon, Pisgah, Little Sioux, and Mondamin Units. I've spent an easy 20 hours on topos and aerial maps. Hills, ag fields, fingers, saddles, pinch points, funnels, Loess Hills have it all. If anyone has experience with boots on the ground there, any information would be greatly appreciated. With this pandemic and 14 day quarantines mandatory from my employer if I travel to Iowa for scouting, that eliminates any chance of a scouting trip. Back in '17 I was humbled by the opportunity to be in zone 4 and harvest a gross green 170" 11pt on public land. Giving the "hills" a shot this year, love putting boots on new ground and scouting/hunting new areas.
