Re: Top 5 strategy podcast of all time?
Lately I've been hooked on the Southern Outdoorsmen. I have learned something from every one i've listened to.
Definitely liked the Glen Solomon episode as a few have already said.
I also really liked episode 180 with Ben Allen (hunting low pressure pockets on public land, and hunting weather fronts

Southern ground outdoors has a series called local legends that has some good episodes, just listened to ep87 yesterday with Bobby Worthington and it was very good now I'm waiting for part 2 to come out.

This thread got me turned onto southern outdoorsman and I have to say They get into some pretty in-depth topics and pick up new ideas to try all the time just because they are based in the se doesn’t mean the tactics don’t translate to other parts of the country

I don’t know if this has been posted but the very first few of THP podcasts are golden and pure tactical information

Sorry, that was supposed to say 200. The one with Andy, Jesse, and Joe.
I have listened to a lot of podcasts and I have to agree with this one! So good!

The Andrae interview doesn’t exist anymore. I looked for it myself because it was such a great one. So many awesome tips from a legend.

Adam Hayes (Moon Effect) - http://wiredtohunt.com/2015/08/28/wired ... on-effect/

Barry Wensel (Mature Bucks) - http://wiredtohunt.com/2017/10/12/wired ... ure-bucks/
I know we were excluding Dan on this one but im throwing his hat in anyways. I recently shared this with a buddy and it reminded me how great is. I believe its one of Dans best interviews and one of the best hunting podcasts ever. IMO its the point when the industry perked its ears up to D.I. and bedding.

Giving this topic a bump. Alot of the whitetail podcasts are getting old and repetitive. Some favorites have been when Lucas Cayko is on. I just enjoy the way that guy tells a story and his tactics. Also the wired to hunt series where he asked questions to Mark Drury, Dan, and two others was great. Got into specific situations and some relatively surprising answers

Re: Top 5 strategy podcast of all time?
Agree that the new Joe Elsinger/THP podcast had a ton of info. Not sure if it was mentioned earlier, and it slipped my mind but the Public Land Roundtable by White Knuckle from a few years back with Todd, Dan, THP, Zabel, Cayko, and Scott Buckley had some info and was entertaining for sure.

As a fellow Virginian, I discovered Nathan Killen this summer and have listened to his strategy hunting the mountains/national forest on multiple podcasts this year. Its tough goin and his knowledge will allow me to be much more efficient this year.
His strategies will apply to anyone hunting the Appalachian from Tennessee through parts of PA.
