Deer patterned me so well

Dropped into a creek looking for hogs a while back and bumped some does off a ridge. Took a right and found hogs on a ridge across from me. Chased em as they where leaving into the thicket. Week 2 I accessed from a dirt road and went back the opposite way, stalked my way to the thicket. I was 40 yards from where the hogs went in, does came out. Third week I returned to the area and was gonna check a different side of the thicket. As I got to wear I dumped off the road during week 2, the does where waiting on a ridge looking to the road. Every time I returned they were where I was. I don’t think this was coincidence.
