What's your specific budget? I've said it multiple times on here before, and I know I sound like a fanboy...and it's because I am  ... but I would personally highly recommend Badlands packs. You can find them used for decent prices, and even brand new for good prices on sites like CamoFire. What I like most about their packs is that not only are they just good quality, but they have an unconditional warranty and top notch customer service. It could literally be the first and last pack you ever need to buy.

I was impressed with one of the Alps outdoors packs that I bought for my dad. It is the Matrix pack. I can’t speak to durability, as I’ve not given it to him yet, but it had the features I wanted for him and I paid about $90 for it from a local sporting good store ( I think Amazon has it for about $90). It seems well built and I’m pretty sure it has a lifetime warranty. I think it will be a great pack and great price point for how he will use it. I hope this helps.

Slumberjack Carbine 2500 Backpack, Realtree Max-1 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0754RZSWZ/re ... .DbM8B469P

$80 is a steal for this pack. Only the realtree pattern is that price.

I paid $125 for the pack a while ago and I am very happy with it for the price.

Go on Amazon and look up hunting back packs , you could get a nice bag for like 50 bucks compared to 100-300 at cabelas or bass pro shops, idk what style bag you want and what compartments so I cant really reccomend because it all depends on your style of hunting but amazon has a good variety

If you need something right away for cheap, I used a $20 Walmart one for 2 years. It had some surprisingly well thought out features but the zippers went on it mid season this year.

I've been using a 10 dollar Walmart special. It's small, but I don't carry much at all. It's been very good to me for 2 seasons. I couldn't really ask for more.

I bought a used badlands pack off saddlehunter a while back. They have a transferable lifetime warranty so I didn’t hesitate to buy it used.

Not sure exactly what you are looking for in a pack. I’m a bit of a minimalist. This is my favorite hunting backpack I’ve ever used.

Bought it a couple months ago and I love it. Super quiet! That’s the best part. Go in a hunting gear store, all the packs are made with loud material. I don’t know who’s building these things but they must not care about getting close to animals without scaring them.

Badlands pursuit is a good budget pack if you can get a discount code. The Timber pack is my favorite one the top opening the way it does is amazing.

I have a superday it's a little heavy and doesnt get as much use as the others.

I'm very happy with my badlands packs I got them either used or 50 percent off discount.

Any clue what code is for Christmas?
I could use another pair of calor base layers I wear in house all the time. They make amazing pajamas.
