Step 1: put on big boy pants after a cold shower
Step 2: put on heater body suit on top of that

Bowhunting is not for the faint of heart. But fortune favors the bowed.

Re: Getting chilly. Cold days are upon us
kinda hard to acclimate to weather being cold here.... In Western New York one day is 60 the next is 20 .. I started switching everything back to wool last year even to the socks and long underwear.. Any more once i have to force myself to stay and freeze its no longer fun to me and hunting is suppose to be fun.

I even shower with water cold enough that makes it “slightly uncomfortable” for me to be in there. It helps a lot.
I do believe this works i really do.
But man its harder and harder too sit still on stand when your cold. Which being still is in my opinion very important.
I can go all day scouting , out and about, working in yard , etc. with just light tee or a light flannel but for some reason anymore i get cold on stand
LOL what? Thats your best advice for a guy looking to stay warm, take a cold shower? One word IWOM. Pricey but I can say I've never heard of a guy not loving one after using it.
Yes cold shower! What also works well in frigid conditions is filling your boots with icy water from a nearby stream Hard to beat a good Camo wife beater, gym shorts, and flip flops during a artic blast. I have found nothing gets one acclimated quicker to hypothermia than this. Kinda like starving to death, best way to get yourself ready is to quit eating. Just playing to each there own.
Life is hard; It’s even harder if you are stupid.

I hunt Wisconsin and the UP.... I am use to cold weather, so what your hunting in, to me would be like summer,,,, however when I get cold or its going to be a truly cold day, and that is different for all of us, I simply put on my HBS. Rolls up easy,,, on my back easy, no need for any heavy clothing, or really heavy boots. Tough to beat a Heater Body Suit........... best investment I ever made
