I've noticed as I've bed hunted alot ,bucks make alot of noise even it seems on rainy days when they get up.
I've always thought in hill country it is so neat to hear when bucks get up. It's a loud rustling ,crashing type sound.
For a new hunter or even those that don't bed hunt they hear sounds in the woods but don't know what they are. It's really easy to know when action is about to began during afternoon hunts.
Bucks very loud getting up from bedding.

Yes but only for about 15 seconds then all goes quiet.
When their body weight moving crushes all the leaves as they go to stand up.

I just experienced this last evening. I actually thought someone shot a deer as at sounded like one crashing to the ground. Caught me completely off guard. About 10 minutes later he came by me a little out of range. One of the biggest bucks I've ever seen while hunting.
