Define Beast Mode

Unread postby TrophyFishR » Thu Oct 17, 2019 3:19 pm

I don't know what it means to go Beast mode. (I'm new to this forum)

What does beast mode mean to you?

I went out & found my first buck bed with a rub beside it. Pretty stoked about that.

From the looks of that avatar, you’re pretty beasty already.

I think of it as doing whatever it takes. A nasty, mucky swamp? Ok. Water up to your waist? Ok. A fat chick spot or tree? Ok. Adapting and not being deterred. Not going with the herd or whatever else you’ve done for years.

Doing whatever it takes to hunt a buck down with zero complaints and then no matter how tough your day is look forward to doing it all over again tomorrow. Giving up is not an option.

Beast mode could be as simple as doing a little more work/ put in more time than the average person to find and stay with the deer movement.

Thinking out of the box. Doing, going, hunting where everybody else refuses to go, or thinks no way will a mature buck live there, cause it's so close to a road, parking area, house, etc. Maybe even cause there are not any "perfect" trees to set a stand in at 12'+ high.

Using and trying all the tactics I've learned here, and then improvising on the go. Learning from the lessons and my own improvisations that went good and bad.
