Raisins I am totally new on here so I apologise once again. Boogieman1 was the one I was referring back to just to clear everything up. Boogieman defies common sense (at least to me), so I will have to pass on further debate with him. LOL

Sometime it depends on the kind of experience you want to have. When I lived in Montana. I loved hunting and fishing midweek. Didn't have to put up with near as many other people. The hunting and fishing wasn't necessarily better. But the solitude was.
As far as hunting. I do feel the animals are less on edge midweek. And may move earlier on evening hunts.
As far as taking off a day or two now. If you have a cold front where high temps drop 15, 20 or more degrees. Go hunt it. It might warm up more than normal for the whole rut. And day time activity may almost be nil. Even though it is the rut.

Happiness is a large gutpile!!!!!!!

I would definitely play the weather, and maybe take sore 4 day weekends, instead of using it all in one chunk. Taking it all at the same time, and having it scheduled far it advance, runs the risk of horrible weather.
Anything worth doing, is worth over doing.
