Had a ton of fun running around with Dan and Jake all week and just hanging with he guys at camp. It was great to meet many who I've never met before. Congrats again Dan on the doe. Last night was the first time i saw the footage myself. Good stuff!

Joe i saw you moved up 800-900 yds or something like that. were you planning on hunting another day and moving up the next day if you didnt see anything that evening?
Also, could you explain what you and Jake saw that made you not push any farther.

Great job. Thankyou for showing Michigan the love it deserves. Crazy thinking The Serial killer himself, and Joe, equally dangerous , were right in my back yard. I knew immediately where they were when I saw the clip and avoided the area for the entire week. Probably have them on cam.:)

This area gets hammered. But a Beast believes. I havent hunted long, 5 years or so. Same time on the Beast. There are many things that I like about the public land challenge series. But its the " belief" that I take away. You can have all of the tactics, gear, time etc, but man, dude , you gotta Believe! Thanks Dan, thanks THP and everyone else involved. Public land holds many opportunities. Thankyou for the high value content.

I believe.

My favorite parts:

Joe joking around about feeling "Beasty"....copyright that saying lol

I actually really enjoyed Dan and John talking about their experiences and burying the hatchet social media has made.

I also enjoyed that much of footage really captured the personality of the guys and gave us a chance to see them as people and not just hunters.

And my favorite part was when Joe was breathing heavy with those two bucks in front of him. I think we all knew he was excited and what that buck was doing to him. Heck I was breathing heavy and talking through the screen lol. Any true hunter would have been that excited after sitting for what.. 5 days and finally seeing what you came for. Then he told us how he felt and you could see the pure excitement he had. Doesn't always have to be a Pope and young or booner buck, its about putting in work, staying the course and finding success! I just thought that part was awesome!

Great crew of guys, sorry to hear of Jeff's dad, prayers and thoughts to him and his family. I was really looking forward to seeing him in on the action.

Man, I really have enjoyed watching the PLC the past two years. Such great hunters between HB and THP and even better comradery. You can tell the guys just flat out enjoy one another and being in the woods on the hunt.

The THP guys label a lot of their stuff so they can keep it straight on the road. The interns kept using Aaron’s gear and he couldn’t find it!

One thing I noticed is with Jake using a saddle behind the hunters using the stands it put him pretty much on the same level. I would think that made coordination easier when trying to film/shoot? Also made for some nice footage.

I am sure with them it gets confusing because they split up in different groups all the time when heading different places.
