What they said. But if you keep a yearly journal. You may see patterns arise that clue you where to look for sign, 1st. At any time of year!!

I have a new favorite but it was only a confirmed mature buck bedding spot , just last year . Suspected until got in too close and jumped a large framed 8 out on Nov 1st ...then I knew It’s on a pressured piece of private with 30-40 acres of corn . When a cold front hits or nasty weather in Oct , large bucks have actually traveled to the corn before shooting light to feed . Need those conditions for me to hunt it .

They bed up on a thick point where they can see down into the valley below. Behind that is lightly hunted property with heavy cover and timber . It’s Only 100 yards from a hay field , 200 yards from the corn .
