I have hunt Stand and OnX. OnX is cool because it has local winds from all the weather stations near by. It also shows the wind for the full day. HuntStand gives you a cone of what areas are good to hunt in your location and which areas are not

Dark Sky

Military radar is usually very accurate.

I combine it with wind alert

I'll 2nd Ventusky, been using it for a couple of years. Having that visual is awesome, especially as a front is moving thru and you can see the changes throughout the day.

Update: Scoutlook and Huntstand are merging Oct 10. Supposedly, Huntstand will be the primary app

Not sure if I like the sound of that but I have no experience with Huntstand. Scoutlook has been great for me and hate to see anything change. Hopefully all of my stand waypoints transfer over.

I have used both, plus OnX.. Have to say I prefer HuntStand. OnX share options are easier,& the offline feature is nice but overall HuntStand has more layers & options.

Check out the HuntStand website, they have details for both users regarding the merger & what is upcoming. I would make sure you are syncing the app with the website to avoid loosing any data.
