Summer to fall core bedding shift

Unread postby logan_jd » Sat Sep 14, 2019 9:07 am

What’s everyone’s seeing in terms of when bucks begin to shift their core bedding areas from summer to fall locations? Immediately after they lose their velvet? Food sources change? Summer vegetation begins to get matted down? Pressure increases?

What is the most common factor you see?

See it here about the first week of September, all when the velvet sheds , the beans are turning yellow and acorns start to drop .

I usually notice the shift as the beans start to turn yellow and the folks just starting their scouting are hitting the woods!
