Should be interesting to see what happens. Also glad to hear you say that it isn't a bass fishing competition, but more about the hunters challenging themselves.

Are you guys permitted to scout at all prior to the opener like the day before? Just curious as I didn't know if you could go a day or 2 early.

No pre-scouting. other than studying maps.

Thanks for the update Dan. I am surprised that you guys don't know where the challenge is taking place. Who is deciding this and when do you find out? I'm assuming it starts with the Michigan opener Oct 1rst?

When is this all going down? Early season, rut or late season?

Very interested to see approach given the amount of pressure expected vs what they see with boots on ground.

If the location leaked, we would get over run by people who mean well, and want to help or meet us, but would distract us from the job at hand... I think its smart for the hunting public to keep that info quiet till last minute, and it adds to the fun.

If you are looking for water in S. Michigan you shouldn't have a problem. Really anywhere in MI has a lot of water, except the sand dunes.

You drinking coffee? I thought you were a sugar/energy drinker. This should be great, looking forward to it.
