For most of us hunting season is right around the corner. So I just thought I’d bring this up to put it out there.
Please check and double check your equipment before you hit the woods.
Stand
Sticks
Bow
GPS
All your stuff
Check it now so it doesn’t bite you later.
Small example:
Buddy and I went to the range this past Sunday. We got done shooting and were packing up. We bought bows at the same time in 2011, same bows in fact.
Mine had a cracked limb last year.
Anyways, I looked at his and bingo, cracked limb.
He bought a new bow today.
Most accidents are preventable.
We owe it to ourselves, our loved ones, and the game we chase.
Rant is done.
Be safe fellow Beasts!

Re: Safety!
my back packing days are getting less and less, but always believed in taking care of myself,,,,,,
Here is my tip, and I realize when your young, you do not think about getting hurt.
Get a military style tourniquet and learn how to use it. Have a small but efficient first aid stuff with you....
I carry a 911 card around my neck and its laminated. If you are unconscious does help the first responders etc, since it is vital information. Have on it, your name, emergency contact number, blood type, medications you take, what your allergic too, etc. It could save your life
I now carry a SPOT, at least they will know where to find me, one way or the other
