How do you like the claw straps? Wonder how they would stack up with the molle waist belt?

I ordered the molle system for my summit before ordering the XOP for my m7. Both are well built, but I prefer the XOP due to the quick connects it has to the stand. You can buy a second set of quick connects and switch the straps between tree stands or, if the hanging straps are a concern, remove them easily after going up the tree.

What should we straps are those? They look much better than the molle versions I have. The buckles always seem to want to pop loose. I found a way to fix them, but those look better.

It is a great system but it needs to be setup properly, especially the waist belt. You should be carrying most of the weight on your hips not your back.

this is 100% spot on.

I bought the Smith Performance Sprayer harness for my LW and love it. Comes with straps and waist belt. Really well made. Got it on Amazon for like $30.

! second this system. I have the game plan gear version which they went out of business and XOP bought their patent. Its a great system!

I cut some buckles/plastic off mine, but overall I like mine, especially for the price....used on ebay for around $25-30 a few years ago.

Check out the link right above your post.....that was a big reason I went with those straps. The buckles that are there, I use...the quick release buckles on the bottom can come in handy if you ever need to get the stand off quick...slip and fall or something. They are also smaller...like large backpack width...I'm happy with them on the stand.

I cut all kinds of buckles and straps off from the back of my Molle system. Used heavy duty zip ties to attach it to the stand. Had it for 5-6 years on an alpha, swapped it to an assault 2 years ago. Never had a problem.

That's the straps I used.

Those look to be a little more functional than the standard molle straps, decent price as well. Thanks
