Wonderful read, Dave. I think you did the best job yet on portraying morning hunts and I agree with almost everything you said there. Enjoyed it.

Awesome stuff dave! I loved your story about the old buck you hunted for 4 seasons and let him pass! Not too many people can say they've done anything like that, much respect!

Alright yeah!

I will read it and I'm excited to do so. I really like DaveT1963's perspective and I found a lot of value in his review /tip videos on YouTube. Seems like a real good dude.

Ok, off to reading...

Dave,

That was excellent, thanks for taking the time. My morning hunting experiences are the same. Let's not tell everyone, I like that mornings have less pressure.

Also thanks Scott for doing these. "Podcasts for people that know how to read/don't listen to podcasts".

Great stuff Dave.

What I will say, perhaps incorrectly, is that I don't think what described in those "contrary to Beast" mentions were really that different from what I've heard here. Like bed hunting... I seem to hear hunting "bedding areas" a lot more often than solitary beds. The morning vs evening thing seems like it might be area of the country and/or hunter preference.

In any case, really enjoyed it. Props to you and the others for taking the time to do it.

PS - Interesting to hear you're a Six Sigma instructor, but somehow not surprising with your approach.

NICE! R-E-S-P-E-C-T! Great analogy at the end. I appreciate each one of those marbles. Especially as I'm getting closer to the bottom of the jar. Thanks!

I've read most every Q&A and this one will stand out from all of them. The end analogy strikes home, making me think of my dads last marble plucked from the bucket.

Hats off to you

I've been told I lost all my marbles long ago!!!! ;)

Seriously Dave. Great job and info. As more people hunt public, like "a Beast". The more things like hunting mornings. Will be the out of the box thing. That leads to success.
