MN regs are out... THIS IS BAD!!

It says 2018 but that’s a typo. Regs are changed and dates are accurate.

You can kiss the herd in Zone 3 goodbye. Unlimited antlerless and 3 bucks per person (one each season... archery, shotgun, muzzleloader)

Lots of intensive zones too. Sad day for the true conservationists in this state.

I’m sure, even though last time I did the math .4% of deer tested were infected. Yes, there’s a period in front of the 4

The part that frustrates me more than anything is a few years ago they got audited and were found to have “unsound management practices”. We were promised all this change and better numbers. They cut tags for a couple years, now this.

I especially feel bad for the guys in the SE. On the bright side hunting land should be dirt cheap down there in 2-3 years.

Doesn’t it sometimes seem like these “experts” have no idea what they are doing and are throwing buffalo chips at the wall to see what sticks?

That does stink... was there a less severe winter die off this year? Minnesota was one of the places I was really starting to look at, esp the SE corner - looks like I may need to reevaluate.

Who could've guessed a state run by a third world extremist would have radical policies.
Must kill all wildlife to make the infidels run out of food supply.
Never give up Freedom for imagined safety.

MN has been poorly managed for decades. When I was in college I hunted Yellow Medicine County. Deer numbers were good. I even had one hunt where I saw over 20 deer. However we couldn’t get a management doe tag in YMC. Back home it was intensive harvest and numbers were 1/4 of what they were in YMC. Maybe not even that.

The DNR doesn’t do flyovers (where applicable) or rely on hunter satisfaction surveys. In 24 years of hunting this state I’ve received one survey. They have a formula that they use in conjunction with harvest numbers. Harvest numbers aren’t a good indicator of the deer population.

I own property in 341. According to the link you posted my area is not under unlimited anterless deer or multiple bucks. Looks like the areas near the cwd cases were the ones most effected

On a brighter note (imho) dog tracking wounded deer is allowed now.

Everything in the 600 series zones is 3 bucks, unlimited anterless. Zone 701 which is the Twin Cities area is unlimited antlerless, but 1 buck looks like.

Adapt and overcome. They put some stiff regs in the CWD areas of Michigan . Month and a half long gun season and 10 doe tags per person

 Uh, this is bad. Most of zone 3 is farm country and the deer are non existent after the crops come out, so killing them all first will make 2020 a rough year. The worst part is we had APRs in zone 3 for years and now are going to ruin the age structure in one year. Unless APRs are being kept? I couldn't find the info online.
