Scouting spring

Now that the leaves and woods are greening up do you guys change your scouting at all? Or change your approach to finding beds and sign?

Last year I did some post greenup scouting, and on into the summer. Honestly it was not as fruitful as pre green up, but I did still find some stuff. Just a lot harder to see sign!

I actually prefer the early stages of green up for finding primary beds. You can see the old dried packed down vegetation from fall along with the new green stuff coming up right now. No better confirmation than that your dealing with a bed that’s used year round.
