I don't care if the guy that lives next to me is a poacher. It's not my problem I'm not a game warden. If you care to much about other people your gonna have a hard life....

There is no magic pixie dust.

If you're passive on a deer, you're teaching 'em.

I always go back to the first time I had ever watched the original marsh bucks dvd. Probably got the quote wrong but close enough.

"its all hard work and scouting, no magic pixie dust"

I was gonna say the one dewey said about bumping lol! So another one that sticks with me is this one may not be exact words but something along these lines " You step out of your truck walk back to your spot and your hunt was over before it even started. He was watching your access. You got to know where the bucks are bedding"

It sure isn't awesome when it happens, but it is a learning experience.

Its not about the kill - its about the path you take to get there!

Or something like that, from the DVD's

Great topic. “One arrow, or one bullet”. Think his father told him that when he was a kid. That was because of cost of either. Tells a lot about how it was for him.

You guys got the best ones already, so here's another one that helped me out last coupla seasons. Regarding pack weight/loadout: "I'm going to kill deer, not recover deer" or something along those lines.

“If you hunt like everyone else, you’re going to get results like everyone else.”

That one has become my number one hunting tip of all time.
But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. John 20:31

What was the one about ScentLok suits and farts? I think he blamed Joe for breaking wind too in one of videos.
