March Sparring
Looked out the back window this morning and had a yearling and two year old sparring for a good five minutes behind the house. Was another bigger buck with them still holding. Not much to add from a strategy perspective, this is unhuntable forest preserve, but cool to watch waiting for the buss with the kiddos!

Re: March Sparring
Whether or not you can get them, it's still always cool observing their behavior. I enjoy that stuff. Glad you got a show.

Re: March Sparring
That is pretty cool. I once saw a forked horn mount a doe on opening weekend of spring gobbler(mid March). But that was down here in FL... so that doesn’t really count.
