Have put about 25 miles scouting in riverbottom marshes in Wisconsin scouting over the past couple months. Extremely high water moved the deer out of the marshes, but still we’re bedding on the higher terrain on the transition.
In spots where great beck bedding normally is, it was a desert this year. Going to mark these spots as high water hunting spots. Happy I found these bedding locations, less work then going into the marshes in normal years. Lol!
Even though they were bedding closer to human presence and human hiking trails, those bucks were still monitoring human on the hiking trails. Interesting stuff...
Anyone else seeing changes in bedding based on high water levels this year?

Excellent effort on your part, it will pay off later for certain. Knowing how your deer react to extreme conditions is knowledge that is difficult to obtain.
Once the river bottom thickets are available in the fall, especially flood plain thickets that are normally flooded in the spring only, some of the biggest bucks in the area will be in them. Flood plain thickets are the key to a lot of farm country mature bucks and bedding. Some top hunters have made a living off of them for big bucks.
