Ode to a season past.

Where is fall
Oh where is fall
The smell of earthen decay
Autumn geese fly away

Where is fall
Silver crystals of a morning frost
The trails of bucks we have crossed
Haunted memories of bucks we've lost

Where is fall
The call of the wild bring me there
oh
For clandestine thought of a bloody arrow

Very good! Let me try one........

You went right, I went left
I found your empty nest
When I set up there the very next day
you left the other way
over and over
throughout the year
sometimes I wish
we could have beers with deer
they could talk
and we could hear
about the ways they escape our gaze
sometimes I wish we could have
Beers with deer
