How much season is left? and how many times do you plan to get back in there?

Hope antlers don't drop before he does.

Weren’t you afraid of boogering the spot up by killing that doe and ruining your chances at killing the big buck for the rest of this season? I just can’t believe a mature buck would tolerate all that extra activity in his core area and not relocate or at the very least go real nocturnal.

Hope you guys still get a chance at him. Good luck.

If I did not see that buck, I had no intetions of hunting that spot again and would rather he don't show there... Its on to the next section of that woods till I locate him. Mario needs to make a move on that corner with the tracks... Either kill him or move him so I can get back after him.

Guess you answered that question in a big way.

Congrats on the kill. 8-)

like Dewey said, such target is dead, and I think this makes a good intro into him showing the next video. He said that he got it on film

Yeah, that's the ultimate sequel!

PS - Wish we would get some freaking snow to make finding them a bit easier.

This is an awesome video, for a lot of reasons, but one aspect i really dug was that it showed hunter responsibility and commitment to recover the animal after the shot! I like the approach and effort on recovering the quarry, whether its a 10 point or a doe! Also all the breakdown and evaluation you guys do after every hunt. Really great, and refreshing to see compared to all the phony hunting media out there that is basically just out to sell products and create hunting personalities.
Great as always and congrats Dan on the doe. Also Congrats on the big buck that followed!
