Hey guys. Joe(PredatorTC) was able to take the time to answer a few questions for me regarding late-season tactics. Figured I would share it here first with everyone before making it public! Again, thanks so much, Joe, for doing this.

Great work Scott & Joe! I'm always excited to get any intel from a killer like Joe!
I was kind of surprised to hear That He likes mornings, late season. That was going to be my plan this weekend, because I have conflicts in the evening. These will be the first morning hunts this season.

Good stuff Joe. Lot’s of great info there. I agree with everything that was said.......except the morning hunts. That’s my one weakness this time of the year. I hate mornings outside the rut.

Well alright, yeah! Thanks for letting us know, Scott. I’ll definitely check it out. I dig Joe’s tactics, attitude and willingness to share detailed stories to help others. Really helpful for a new guy like me. (even though I’m old enough to be his dad)

That was excellent stuff Scott and Joe. Great questions and answers and above all else, timely! I’m super interested in how to approach the late season in an intelligent way, so to me, there was nothing better than this interview. I mean, reading articles about some hunt in late October or November doesn’t help me strategize for late season. This did. Great idea and execution.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!

Oh jeeze.....late season mornings Joe? What a hardcore sob you are! I can’t say I’ve ever done that. I do love late season hunting tho. My new found love for Winnebago ice fishing as well as late season goose hunting tend to get my attention more these days. Especially after chasing deer hard all November.
This year a knee replacement is keeping me out of all that winter fun for a while.

i totally agree with morning sits its nearly impossible too get in close late season for a afternoon hunt with crunchy frozen ground and a buck has no reason to get up at sun down from his bed most of the 24 hour day is dark so hes not worried about getting in gear nobody hunts in mornings so less pressure and if the buck gets occupied feeding all night he can get caught rushing too get back too his bed for daylight. its funny hunters are lazy and dont get up early and bucks are lazy and dont get up either lol

I guess that’s how they get to be mature bucks!
