Hello everyone,
I am hunting on an island in the middle of a tamarack marsh. The thick tamaracks are about 40-100 yards off the island on the N, E, W sides. I I have NNW wind. I saw a nice buck to the north chasing a doe around 3:20. And at 6 o'clock I saw another buck on the island rubbing and scraping. He came to me at 30 yards, over a scrape.I put the pin right on him and he ducked my arrow. He was not alert when I shot. Surprised how much he dropped. He walked off into the marsh not too alarmed then disappeared into the tamaracks. I don't believe this buck was the same buck that was pushin a doe around earlier. His rack looked significantly wider with shorter tines. My question is, should I come back immediatly in the morning and hunt these bucks or hold off? And if so how should I go about this hunt?

If they are chasing. I would hit it again. My not be in there next day.
I'm reason they call it hunting and not shooting.
