I used milkweed for the first time yesterday evening and what a difference. This is my second year as a bow hunter so I am still learning the wind thing. We had a wsw wind for the better part of the day and around 6:00pm I felt the wind stop, I dropped some milkweed and it went a 180 from when I first dropped it. Instead of going up to the high ground I came in on it was now blowing down hill towards a pond. To top off the afternoon I had a doe come in about 80 yards and bed down, it may seem minor but that was definitely a first for me. I thought I passed a bedding area as I came in but I cant confirm that it was, there was a scrape adjacent to what I believe is a bedding area. I didn't see any rubs so I am wondering if it could have been a doe bedding area?
