Has anyone ever had this happen to them while sitting in a stand?
I had something happen to me last Saturday am while sitting in a bow stand that had never happened to me & none of the hunters I've talked to have ever heard of it either. I suppose you could make this up, but it kind of falls into the category of "you can't make this stuff up".
I heard a squirrel coming down the tree above me, nothing new about that, happened to me hundreds of times over the years. Little bits start falling, acorn pieces or bark I figured, but they kept coming. I looked up it's a fox squirrel the size of a half grown kitten, one of those real big devils. He's sitting about 5' above my head facing down. I see a spot on my jacket sleeve & look around, is it sprinkling? No, by now you've figured it out. He was peeing on me. It wasn't like it was just streaming down, he was just leaking. I understand, he was getting old & was having control issues. I laughed as he headed back up the tree.
However, when he switched over to the next tree over & came down & sat on a branch slightly below me & out from the tree trunk it was time to act.
I switched arrows to an old broad head, one of which I, probably like most guys, always carry for varmints & such. He went down the tree & sat on the ground, fine I'll shoot him there. Drew couldn't see him, adjusted my hood, it was blowing 20-30 mph out of the NW here that morning. He wasn't there. He went back on top of that branch & I smoked him with a three blade NAP Spitfire Max.

I’ve had them drop stuff on me but never peed on me. That’s funny.

That's funny! Glad you took out the perp.
I have never been pissed on by an animal while on stand, but I have had a bird poop on me. That's not as bad as being peed on, though, in my opinion.

He was helping you with a little cover scent.

I would have waited till he got back on the ground and peed on him to get even.

I've had one pee on me before and laughed, I'm pretty sure they do it on purpose to make me mad. Now, if I have a lot under my stand, I'll try to time when I need to relieve myself when I have one right below. It's tough to connect, but I've had returned the favor a couple times before.
I hate those squirrels, thick by me even though someone squirrel hunts my main farm most of August and does very well. A few years back during firearm season one somehow snuck up in my and when I turned he was resting on my gun barrel. Nearly startled my out of my stand being 3 feet from my head and not knowing he was there!
