Booger the buck, do you scout out the spot further or back out?
Wondering some thoughts, if you are sneaking along looking for hot sign and you booger a big buck, he busts out of his bed....would you go any further scouting out that bed (standing in it, looking for rubs) to figure it out more or do you back out?

I’m scouting that spot right then and there . I may sit there or close by that evening but I defiantly will return in a few days if there is good sign showing he spends a lot of time there . Try when conditions are just right ( wind /weather) . Also If you find a scrape associated with a trail coming from that bed .... sit there on that next visit !

I wouldnt go any farther in and hunt that spot immediately. The only way I would encroach on his bed is if and when im done hunting that bed for the year or at least multiple weeks.

If it's off season scouting I'd go ahead and check out the bed and try to get as much info for next season as possible.
If it's right before season or in season I would not go near the bed. If I had my stand I'd set up and hunt it that day but if not I'd hunt it ASAP.

Bust him out, scout the spot and then setup quickly! They will come back same day more often than we think. Depends on time of day when it happens. Its probably best to have a mindset to get the setup and come back next morning.
