Pinch Point Rubs

Unread postby Octang » Wed Sep 19, 2018 2:38 am

I wanted to hear your thoughts on how you interpret rubs in travel corridors. I generally look for rubs in bedding, and around the buck's staging area and ignore many of the rest that I come across. However, I recently scouted a big woods pinch point (about 40 yards wide) that was torn up with large historic rubs. From what I can tell, it is a travel corridor. Would you expect those to be rut related rubs primarily, as the buck is basically putting up highway signs telling the other bucks this is his turf? Or do rubs like this randomly appear throughout the season?
