My goals:

Kill a buck bigger than a button buck! (Last season was my first kill) :D

Learn the wind better

Manage work/hunting/family time properly

Don’t forget/lose my release

Don’t fall in the water in the marsh

Kill a doe, then target a buck. Going into my 2nd "serious" season bow, I need some success to move forward. Been working hard picking up more intel, more knowledge of the publics I haunt, and just learning trying things I normally wouldn't. Only beast hunting maybe 20%, even though my scouting is pertaining to beds. The publics are in the SE part of the state so the APR says 4 pts on a side, so my options are to shoot a decent one, so I should be in beast mode more often.
Both boys are heading north for gun season this year, I will do my best to help then enjoy the commaradary of family, fun, and all that goes on at deer camp. If they could knock one down, that would be frosting on the cake.
Yesterdays common sense is no longer common
