I Hope everyone has a good season. A good year too me is just to see a few mature onesand learning from everything that happens and doesnt happen. . Getting a shot on one is just a huge bonus.

I'd say DK is due. He knows his stuff, and got himself a wall hanger last year. I'd say he's due for a big one this year too.

I am living in a new area. I have one area I'm confident in. I have knowledge of a lot of ground but nothing gets me too excited and I've walked many many miles of it...

I have permission on 800+ acres of private.. landowner says there are too many deer.. purposely got a doe tag for that area just to try to get in his good graces..it has potential.

I knew this going into the season so my vacation is when the seeking is usually kicking off good...


Also have another vacation and planning to either bow hunt Ohio public or gun hunt NY public.

Then another vacation during the PA flintlock season.


Don't know what to expect. Looking forward to the adventure though. Really excited to see what the 800+ acres of private looks like.

I know I'm starting my season deep in the marsh on an oak finger. Oaks were bad this year...looking great this year...which means I aughta have some action out there.
