Looks like he’s probably crossing ridges like this to scent check multiple ridge lines; does cruising West to East. Think you’re spot on with the saddles. I’d bet there are multiple micro saddles he’ s using that just don’t show on this map.

I also noticed the lower ridge activity in the October time frame. I honestly would of bet on him staying higher than lower. My guess is October "lull" anyone who would of tried to hunt that low area would of got busted with the thermals.


Probably targeting acorns on a non bumper year. Acorns near water tend to produce more frequently year to year.
