Super quiet pack?

For season I’m in search of a no sound mini pack. Anyone know of any?

I have several packs here at the house but have noisy fabric or zippers.

Bow season it’s really hard to fit binoculars and rangefinder in pockets.

Used to have a wool drawstring pack that was dead silent. Nothing on it to make any noise. Forget where I got it, but if u want quiet that's the way to go

When I wanted a quiet pack I ended up buying fabric from lou and making my own. Well actually someone else sewed it for me. Thanks Terri! I just designed and supervised. lol

You can sometimes quiet zippers by lubricating them with candle wax.

What about the Fred Asbell Haversack??? I don't have one so I can't comment but the are popular with the trad guys for making no noise...

Have you ever thought about getting a bow vest? I have one by primos. Got a generation 1 version on eBay for like $18. Holds everything I need. I don’t even carry a pack anymore which is incredibly liberating. One of the best pieces of equipment I own.

No problem. Let me know how you like it. They also make a gun hunter vest that is orange. Not sure what Tennessee’s regulations are, but when gun opens here I switch all my archery stuff over to the gun vest since it’s basically the same thing.

Been using Kathy Kelly fleece packs for decades - doubt anything is more quiet or better built. My second choice would be Day One for a quiet pack.

agreed! I have had zippers split apart after I wax them if I put a lot of pressure on them so be careful.

i keep all my gear in a alaska guide creations bino chest pack it will hold everything essential you need and they are made in the good old USA they are made of cordora but since they sit in the center of your chest you should not have noise issues. I have the cub max and it holds my binos, range finder,milkweed headlamp, spare batteries, compass trail markers hunting tags pen, leatherman knife, and bag of tp and lens cloth. i keep my water strapped to my saddle platform and sticks in a small stuff sack that holds my saddle but if you use a stand the concept is the same. the biggest benefit is all your gear is at the tip of your fingers which really helps when your trying to slip into a spot to hunt or get out. if not that system id suggest a vest for same reasons. https://www.alaskaguidecreations.com/
