Dan and the Hunting Public

Unread postby jkelley1487 » Sat Jun 30, 2018 2:34 pm

I was listening to “the Hunting Public” podcast last night and they were talking about doing an out of state public land hunting challenge with Dan. I may have misheard but it sounded like they were all going to an out of state location this coming fall.

If so, this is freakin awesome and can’t wait to see the videos from it. (Sorry if this has already been posted)

I have always wanted to do a challenge type hunt where guys who are known for there hunting savy go to a distant public land they have never been on and compete in a friendly way on a 4 day / or a week long hunt. We would film the planning, the hunting, and the results, no matter what the results might be. I brought that up to Aaron the last time we got together and he is all for it and wants to spearhead it. Which Im all for... We are in the process of picking teams right now. I was keeping it Quiet cause I wanted to wait till they said something... I think this could be a great show. Everytime we do a challenge we would go to a new destination or state and hit a public land of varying difficulty.

I think that would be alot of fun to follow! It would also be a great learning tool for guys who've never hunted out of state. Picking spots, efficiently scouting & making the best use of your time.

I'm looking forward to it!!!

I always wished they did a concept show like that but with "celebrity hunters" and see how they cope on public. I think we know the answer.

Man if you are picking guys from the beast I think the hunting public is in trouble

Should be a total hit, and a huge publicity gain for the beast getting that much spotlight on a show with that much following. I foresee a ton of dvds and sticks being sold because of this.

I’m really looking forward to seeing who is all in this. There are definitely some guys flying under the radar that the hunting world deserves to know about.
