Thanks for the pics Jan. Love them. 8-)

One old warrior against another. Only fitting that Stanley passed on him in his final season.

Wow, been away from the site for awhile. This is sad to hear. I enjoyed the video posted on the funeral website.

Always sad to lose someone who has influenced the lives of so many! I enjoyed the input he has given us here at the beast and because of that he will live forever on these pages. Some of his sage advice will be used by us in our future hunts.
I especially liked the podcast he did with Mario back in 2015.

Thanks Stanley for all your contributions!

My condolences to his wife and family.

I always had the utmost respect for Stan. Learned an awful lot from him. The good Lord has a time and place for taking all of us. Look forward to meeting up with Stan someday and God bless his family.

Wow, such a loss, to his family and his Hunting Beast family.

Very major loss to this site and those looking to learn.

My condolences to Stan's family and friends. I read in his obituary that Carol posted that he was preceded in death by his daughter, Hannah, and his son, Justin. Losing a child has a mighty way of changing a person. Sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse. Knowing this about him and based off what everyone has shared about Stan, I'd be willing to bet good money that he was one of a man.

My condolences,
Stanley was the first person on this site to reply to a question I had posted up. Lookin back it was kinda a dumb question I asked but I was new to the beast and excited to jump in. The fact he took the time to answer was something I noticed about him with many newcomers on the site and I felt that it was great that someone with so much knowledge/experience would take the time and humbly reply and offer help/positive feedback. His advice and insight on this site is invaluable to deer hunters and lovers of the outdoors. Thanks to Stan and may he rest in peace.

Sad, sad news, and also disappointed that I missed it until now. As others have said, Stanley was one of the first to make a new member feel welcome, as well as one that I ALWAYS paid attention to his advice. A great contributor, and no doubt a great man.

I admit I don’t get on as much an contribute like I once did. But complete and utter shock. Stan touched so many lives in here and changed so many hunters perscpectives. It’s hard to wrap your head around a loss this surreal and shocking. I still now have a hard time accepting the news. Rest In Peace peace Stanley.

I listened to podcast #3 with Stan today on river bottoms and small wood lots. He gave a piece of advice that hopefully will stick with me through this season and many more.
