i tried both . the quiver was ok very sturdy but you gotta take it easy taking the off and another thing to put in your pocket when not in use
i hear great things about the talons so i bought them and i just could not get them to work it was like i couldnt get them tight enough im sure they are a great product but just for me i just strap to stand now or have a sling for just stix for when i use saddle

Use steppladder steps. You can check them out on youtube. 8 steps equals 8 pounds and gets you 16 feet high or you can use more. Each steps get you another 2ft higher. Packs right into a small bag that hangs on your side as you climb you pull them out one at a time.
