Slayer Seed to Close
Slayer Seed is temporarily ceasing operations until further notice to restructure it's operations and create a healthier work environment. This process is expected to take the remainder of the year. Though I may periodically offer seed for sale to clear out current inventory.
I know this is not the greatest timing for my customers and I apologize for that, but it is necessary. If you need advice I will still try to help when possible.
I have enjoyed the pictures and success stories everyone has sent in over the past 10 years and look forward to many more in the future.

Good luck in your upgrade adventure.

Re: Slayer Seed to Close
Didn’t catch this the first time posted. Just went on website to put in an order and found out the hard way. Hopefully you’ll reopen better than before. I’ve bought from you a couple of times and have been really happy with the results.
Any suggestions on what to plant for this year se WI. Was going to plant something that would last a few years but now I might just do another fall plot and hopefully by next spring your back up and running. I’ve used frigid forage in past with good success but any other companies I should be on the lookout for?

It depends on the type of ground your planting. What were you thinking about?

Re: Slayer Seed to Close
It’s the bottom of a hill just up from a marsh. Silty loam would be the best to describe it. I had good success with the crimson trail. So I think I’m looking for something with rye or vetch, and probably some brassicas. Anything else? Or have another company to recommend. It’s not very big, just a 1/4 acre.
