I have pretty good luck on one big giant water hole... its roughly 12 miles long and 12 miles wide :lol:

I have never had any success near water early season or anytime. We have a lot of springs and waterholes and farm ponds and pretty much a creek in every hollow, maybe it is just too much water available for water to make a difference. It doesn't get real hot here either early season at higher elevations where I hunt, nothing like the midwest.
Some do. Some don't. I just might...
