Great video as usual from hunting public. I do find it interesting that in mountains I hunt I never see bucks traveling this way and I usually hunt similar ridge tops. Maybe it is because the tops usually have a major bear trail and deer avoid that. I don't know.

I should clarify...But where I hunt ridges with crops paralleling I do see doe trails going straight up and over the tops to bedding. The bucks will just usually cross and scent check these trails on the upper bench or just under the top but not on the top.
I usually setup just off the top where I can still watch the top but can also shoot down to the upper trail running parallel to the ridge, usually at a terrain feature where multiple trails intersect going perpendicular and parallel if possible. Sounds like basically the same setup just tweaked a little based on the conditions.
