Here is a great thread on Hills that Dan posted awhile ago. Great stuff for newbies as well.

Great video as usual from hunting public. I do find it interesting that in mountains I hunt I never see bucks traveling this way and I usually hunt similar ridge tops. Maybe it is because the tops usually have a major bear trail and deer avoid that. I don't know.
Some do. Some don't. I just might...

I should clarify...But where I hunt ridges with crops paralleling I do see doe trails going straight up and over the tops to bedding. The bucks will just usually cross and scent check these trails on the upper bench or just under the top but not on the top.

I usually setup just off the top where I can still watch the top but can also shoot down to the upper trail running parallel to the ridge, usually at a terrain feature where multiple trails intersect going perpendicular and parallel if possible. Sounds like basically the same setup just tweaked a little based on the conditions.

I saw this too and thought Dan must be proud his tactics are spreading and these guys seem to have it down pretty good. :D
