NW Ohio

Unread postby DropTyne » Fri Feb 11, 2011 10:03 am

I have a friend that has some acreage in NW Ohio that would like me to come hunting with him. It's super hilly terrain. Anyone ever hunt up that way? Is it any good? Quality of bucks? Quantity of deer?

I haven't hunted there, but quality bucks can be found anywhere in Ohio. It all depends on the specific piece of property. If it's a good property then I would say hunt it.
You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

Well, if it's a friend and you can afford to go then I would never pass up the opportunity to hunt with a friend on a new to you piece of property. Also gives your normal stomping ground a break and you may learn something while you're at it. :D

Heck yes it is worth the drive there...They shoot 200 class deer in that part of the state as well. I can't wait to get back to Ohio next year to hunt!

good point, Tim. They've really been taking some bruisers down there, and its really not that far for Michigan hunters.
