Maryland Archery Hunter Survey
I have participated in the Maryland Archery Hunter Survey for several years. The survey asks the bowhunter to log several pieces of data. Some of the data requested includes the amount of time hunted each day, the amount and sex of deer and whether the land was private or public. Some of the data I find interesting, such as baiting and cover scent. I asked the database manager to add another field for future surveys to ask if scent control clothing was worn. Here are the results for the 2016-2017 season. http://dnr.maryland.gov/wildlife/Documents/BowHunterSurveyReport.pdf

They perform the survey each year to monitor population trends. http://dnr.maryland.gov/wildlife/Pages/hunt_trap/bhsurvey.aspx
