A month later

Unread postby Kane0928 » Fri Dec 22, 2017 2:10 pm

Well after hours of searching and a strike of pure luck. My October buck was found I just about gave up and happen to stumble upon him while working on the farm. He mustve doubled back on his trail and went back for water is all I could figure. After seeing the shot placement I confirmed it was my deer only a one lung hit.

Thanks everyone, it's a big relief I haven't lost one before and this managed to keep my streak of good luck. I feel very fortunate.

As some others said. Closure is good. Nice buck too.
I'm reason they call it hunting and not shooting.

Congrats. Gotta feel good finally knowing what happened. It’s unreal how they can just disappear.

Congrats! Closure is always nice.

Dandy buck.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Glad you found him. Congrats. I know the feeling....Wish I would find mine from October... Those single lung hits are tough...
Some do. Some don't. I just might...
