On evening hunts
Milkweed, range finder, cell phone.
All day hunts I might add a water, a roll of TP.. maybe a snack, extra cell battery.

Re: What do you bring?
Fanny pack with water, folding saw (have a wicked on my Christmas list), pruner, grapple hook, phone, gps (if in a new place), milkweed, tags, havalon knife. Knife just cause I gut deer, leave to get extraction gear and come back without weapon and layers to drag. Knife adds no weight anyways so it’s nice to have. Havalon piranta is a great knife as well. Best gutting knife I have found.
If all day I will add food. Early season water is a must. October I won’t take either
Bow holder mounted on stand. Belt and tether bungeed to stand with extra clothes. Compass pinned on jacket.
Thin gloves, head sock and stocking cap in jacket if needed.
I looked at what I took last year and removed what I didn’t use. Still working on a rangefinder/ bino system that works for me.

Re: What do you bring?
I got way to much that I carry. I need to get away from it. But, its nice to just reach in bag and get what you need.
I'm reason they call it hunting and not shooting.

Re: What do you bring?
For me less is best. If u carry everything u think u would possibly ever need you would need a U-haul! Keep it light and keep it simple is my motto! I'm not camping in the North woods for months at a time, I'm hunting whitetail from a tree stand no need to be pretending your on the next episode of survivor

Re: What do you bring?
Evening hunts are simple and light, everything in pockets.
Stand/sticks, bow, release, grunt tube, cell phone, license, headlight and flashlight (don't like the dark lol), harness/carabiners/tether, milkweed, pull up rope, knife on belt, sometimes rangefinder but rarely
All day hunts add in a pack, external battery, Extra layers, food, water, extra socks (change at tree), hand warmers, maybe a hand warmer fanny, maybe a saw if not on public, paper towels and a lighter in a zip lock, caffeine tablets to stay alert. Seems like alot but most stays in my pack for all day sits in archery or all day rifle season hunts.
Late season flintlock is smple again but add in all the powder, patches, balls, lube, toothbrush, ball starter, etc etc in a fanny pack
