Milk weed pods
I live in Delaware and not sure if we have milkweed grows naturally aroun here anyone know where or how i can purchase some ?

I think you can use cattail pod seeds/fuzzies the same way. Both are lightweight and float in the wind.

Cattails work as mentioned if there's any left that aren't blown out by the wind this time of year. Milkweed is hard to come by right now as well for the same reason. I have a couple pods I could send. I don't usually use more than 6-7 pods a season.

We have it here in DE your not going to find any this time of year tho. Look by the sides of the roads and near ditches. Once you know what to look for you will notice it all over.

I’m also trying to find some online with no luck. I’m in Florida and pretty certain no milkweed here.

You can really start to see them in the summer when the pods start to form. I wait untill late August or early Sept before I pick them. You can either pick it early and dry it out or wait untill the pods start to open on their own. Nice thing about it is once you find some it comes back in the same spot the following years.
