Watched em fighting and chasing all day long. Passed a decent 9 pt today. Had a bunch of youngens trying him and he run them all off. Too many days left in the trip too take him, but I'm gonna try to get my baby brother on him tomorrow.

Keep us informed if you don't mind, I just read an article somewhere showing the survey they done on LBL and the deer density is ridiculously low. Just wondering if that's true or not. Hard to tell what's true on the internet, because locals go to the extreme to discourage out of state hunters on their public land.

It's a WMA in Kentucky.

Will do. We are hunting zone 10. Funny thing is all the locals I know around here and chat with in passing say lbl is loaded and guarantee we will see some deer.

I don't know really what to think about it. I've heard on the forums it's bad, but the locals that hunted it this season don't seem to understand why they did away with the bonus buck. They are seeing better buck to doe ratios then most of them can remember so maybe the overall numbers are down.

The rut is still raging on the farms. Most of the does we have killed are hot and everything with antlers is charged up and ready for a fight.

No chasing going on here in west tn yet I think it'll be in the next 5-10 days here.

A lot of scrapes popping up all over.

Yes lbl has a low deer population right now too many people over the last 5 years taking young bucks n too many does several west tn wma having this issue they lowered our bag limit to two bucks from 3 happy they did.

Lbl
Big Sandy
Natchez
White oak.
Browntown
John Tully

Are having deer density issues in my part of the state.

Chasing has slowed a little. Only had one youngen come cruisen. Been a fun trip to the farm. But tomorrow we start scouting LBL. Sat looks fun with the rain and Sunday should be beautiful. I'm still packing a buck tag so gonna be a blast unless I pop a monster in the morning, but everything on the farm has been an easy pass knowing I got a challenge at LBL waiting.
