Last year was my first time trying to implement Beast tactics. I killed my #2 on my target list at 2:45pm on Nov. 11. I got into my stand at Noon that day...couldn’t get in any earlier. I used a bleat a couple of times and he came in...cannot know if it was the bleat, though.
For me, the difficulty is that gun season is the first three weeks of November. So, the woods are more pressured. But, they don’t hunt where I’m hunting for the most part and they mostly hunt early morning and late afternoon. As a matter of fact, last year, I was pulling my buck out of the woods when two gun hunters were walking to their stands.
I like the above advice about 11am until dark if you can.
